Statement: Video art is my alternate mode of expression, the abstract counterpart to my literary- journalistic approach to landscape interpretation. Both methods stem from the same field research, but video art is the extension where I favor personal meaning over objective quantification. It offers new ways to explore the nature and culture of outdoor spaces, and to explain the intangible elements—preconceived notions, experience, memory and nostalgia—that influence perceptions of public lands
Works are available for exhibition and sale in single-channel, multi-channel, and interactive display modes. Please contact the artist for more details.
